1) If the business you’re looking at has some contact details, contact them and ask them plenty of questions in order to work out what they’re all about. Doing some background and history searches on companies will tell you what sort of track record they have, preferably, you want it to be squeaky clean.

2) Choosing companies that don’t have extensive training and support elements, free of charge, for their members to use will be a huge element in contributing their failure online. If this is lacking, then you will often have to go searching for the support you will need elsewhere, which means you spending more money and wasting a lot more time. You want to try and find automated businesses and companies that have this at the core of their business ethos to begin with.

3) Are they pushy, and all about trying to get you to sign up on your first enquiry? If so, you need to ask yourself if this is a company you would feel ok with when promoting to others, and whether it’s a business you would feel proud to be associated with. 4) Are their pages and messages full of hype and unrealistic claims? Sadly, their is a lot of hype in online marketing, cutting through this is tough, but it can be done through research and due diligence. The danger in picking a business with messages that are “hypey” is that you will sooner or later end up with a lot of un-happy prospects, or you just won’t attract any prospects.

5) Once you think you have found an online company that you feel is genuine and right for you, you then need to find a person who you feel is accessible, honest, and trustworthy to be your sponsor. This is extremely important; it needs to be a person who you feel you can build a long lasting personal relationship with and this decision will ultimately be the one that will make you very rich, or just broke.
