Do you know what the foremost important factor is when an aspiring entrepreneur sets out to learn how to make money? The most important factor is the individual. What occurs far too often, is that entrepreneurs try and substantially rely on a system or program. The truth is that they should have enough self-confidence to the degree that reliance on a system or program is not necessary. Personally, I have researched both successful and unsuccessful people. What I have found is that nearly every successful person has certain personality traits which they share. Whether or not you will be successful in making money all comes down to your approach towards business (ie. confidence, work ethic, competence, etc.), your business plan, and your consistency.

What I can tell you upfront, is that unless you are willing to take action to change the factors of your life, you will never figure out how to make money. You cannot wait for a miracle, you cannot wait for chance, you have to envision, plan, and take action. Most successful people do not hesitate. They are ready and willing to take action right away. Conversely, most unsuccessful people have no idea what to do, often say that they “should” but do not, want success but are not willing to sacrifice, and could probably write a twenty-seven paragraph book of excuses. Unfortunately, there is no market for such a book.

Having said this, we have to contrast apathy from an avoidance of success. Just because someone is nonchalant does not mean that they will never experience success. The Internet if full of lazy people who still have enough desire to make money, that they take action. Just look at any person who runs a “get rich quick” scheme. The originator of such scheme still took action to create an unsustainable business model, and was able to lure people in to hand over their money. Although they are lazy and unethical, they are unfortunately making the money which they set out to make.

Another trait which successful people embody is the outright refusal to fail. Of course, this is not to say that someone, such Bill Gates, should not have accepted the fact that his first company, Traf-O-Data, was not going to succeed. Rather, I am saying that Bill Gates himself refused to fail, and thus endured to create Microsoft. People such as Bill Gates, and Thomas Edison achieved success by learning what did not work, and evolving their process from that point on. You need to follow the same line of thought if you want to successfully learn how to make money.

In addition to an unwillingness to accept failure, remaining positive is a major key to future success. Unsuccessful people often carry negative perceptions which cloud the manner in which they envision the future. Do not allow misplaced negative perceptions to thwart your future success. I do not care who you are, or where you came from. You need to realize that you deserve success as much as anyone. However, to achieve success, you must be willing to break free from the status quo. Maybe you feel as though you do not have the time to learn how to make money, or are not educated enough on the subject. These two burdens can be addressed easily.

1. A Lack of Time. Having the proper amount of time to conduct your due diligence, develop a business plan, and accomplish your daily goals is critical. Thus, the key to creating more time throughout the day is being more time efficient. You can become more time efficient by keeping a schedule. If you have been wasting time, the reason why will become apparent due to the schedule. Once you are able to recapture the time which you have been wasting, that time can be assigned to your business. If you do this, you will be shocked at how much more time you have each day.

2. Lack of Education. When I say education, I am not talking about a formal education. I am talking about the simple, basic knowledge which you will need to get started and progress with your online business. The nice thing is that we now live in the Internet Era. In this era, we can educate ourselves with what we need to know simply by going online, and conducting a few searches. Your education is right on your computer monitor.
